How To:

To achieve the custom painted mask for your own horse, you will need the following:

1. One piece of chalk.

2. One small bottle of antique white or off white ACRYLIC craft paint.

3. One small paint brush, preferably 1/2 inch wide, tapered. You may purchase this from any craft store (Michaels).

To paint the mask, follow the instructions below.

1. With the mask on your horse, take the piece of chalk and outline the markings.

2. Remove the mask.

3. Squeeze a small amount of paint onto the paint brush and begin filling in the marking area. Spread thin enough so the paint does not clog the holes in the mesh. Use your brush to "feather" the outline of the marking as if it were hair.

4. Allow to dry 5 to 10 minutes before putting the mask on your horse.
